FLATBUSH, NY - According to sources, an individual was injured during a police-involved shooting in a Brooklyn residence on Friday afternoon.
Authorities have verified the incident took place on East 21st Street close to Dorchester Road in Flatbush.

Reportedly, an officer discharged their weapon inside a first-story apartment around 5:30 p.m., resulting in the man being shot, while no law enforcement personnel sustained any injuries.
There are unconfirmed reports of the victim having been armed with a knife.
Police are expected to hold a press conference Friday evening to discuss the cause of the incident.
