My new landlord emailed me that he will be terminating my lease that was supposed to start Feb 1. Lease has been fully countersigned, and he has my $8k deposit/first month rent, which he says he will return.

Hi everyone! I moved into an older, prewar building last June. Everything else is fine but the toilet is really old (clogs easily, doesn’t flush, etc). We don’t dispose of anything that shouldn’t go down the toilet, so I don’t know why it keeps clogging.
