Hey mods, can we put a ban on these silly and most likely super illegal 2-4 week sublets? They clutter the subreddit which is meant for people looking for long term leases. Have them post over on r/shorttermrentals
I’m still kind of new to apartment hunting in nyc, so I’m not too sure if this is normal. I saw the apartment in person and met the agent but usually thought you pay a deposit after getting accepted. He said that he can stop showing the apartment to others and on sites once I deposit.
